MISSION PARTNERS

Pioneer Bible Translators Visit - October 8

Pioneer Bible Translators (PBT) is a mission that Rocky Fork supports. PBT's goal is to bring God’s Word to unreached people. PBT isn’t just translation, but transformation. They bring people to Jesus through Bible translation and church planting, combined with discipleship, incarnational ministry, and the use of translated Scripture.

On Sunday, October 8, members of PBT staff will be bringing their Bible display to Rocky Fork Fellowship where you will have the opportunity to see some of PBTs work. The PBT Bible Display is an extraordinarily, impactful, visual story of all the work PBT has completed and is pursuing since its inception in 1978. You will able to view how the translated Scripture appears in another language and see images of cultures being transformed by the translated Word into mother tongue languages around the world. The display includes projects that are in varying stages of completion - from whole Bible translations to pre-publication translations.

During both services, PBT staff will also be leading a discussion about translation efforts in the classroom across the parking lot in the RFF offices. We hope you can join us!

Rocky Fork lives by our mission to help people Know Jesus and learn to Love Like Him.  Not only in Hallsville, Missouri, but around the world. RF currently supports over 10 mission groups and missionaries world-wide, and dedicates more than ten percent of our annual unrestricted income to mission work.
